I planted my fall tomatoes in early November. It was very, very late to plant them but the fall was brutally hot, especially in October. I added some Greek and Italian oregano to the elevated bed with my two tomatoes plants. All were growing well with lots of yellow blooms, pretty green tomatoes, and fragrant herb leaves. In January, we experienced a very unexpected and brutal cold front. The temperature dropped below freezing for almost 10 hours, very unusual for the Texas Gulf Coast. I…Continue

I love our Elevated Garden Planters and have two on my patio. The 22” tall bed has three peppers, two oregano plants and marigolds (to discourage bugs from eating my peppers). The taller bed (34”) has a crocked neck squash, long necked squash, two zucchini plants, a cucumber plant plus marigolds. I planted these beds in mid February.
All of my plants are sprayed with the Perfect Blend about every 7-10 days depending whether I am in town. I am our family’s spokesperson on HSN so…Continue

I starting using Spray n grow in the middle of summer 2015 and got pretty good results, in fact the cantaloupe was the best tasting that I have ever grown. In 2016 I used Spray n Grow all through the growing season, every one to two weeks. I planted pickling cucumbers, cantaloupe, bell peppers, tomatoes, sweet corn, okra, and zucchini. At the end of the growing season I had harvested 803 cucumbers from 16 plants. The okra plants were about 7 foot tall and the stalk was about 2 inches…Continue
This is my first year for using Spray-&-Grow. It's now almost the end of the season for us here in our area of the country. What did I find out?
1. Yes, the plants are gorgeous. Flowers, garden, everywhere I used it. My cucumber plants, I could have a 2 inch fruit start in the morning and by the next day that fruit would be too large. Had to go to a twice a day picking just to get the right size for making pickles.
2. But, I believe I used it too much. The directions…Continue

Does your Burn Out product get rid of horse tails? If not does anyone know how to get rid of the invasive weed?
This is my first year using. My question is radishes. They don't like a lot of nitrogen. Can I use it on them?
Daffodils are starting to open along sidewalk . Those protected by house have already gone by! Tulips, Delphiniums, Hosta, Peonies, Bleeding Hearts almost everything is up and of course its supposed to snow. Two new bare root trees went in last weekend. Both Five footers of Radiant Crab and Japanese Lilac Tree. They are going to be anchors for large front yard bed. I really love the Grecian Wind Flowers, profile pic is one of them. Hi how old can Spay&Grow become no longer active and useful. I know mine is at least 2 years old, and it is yellow when it comes out of the original container, I've been adding the soda to it anyway thinking that maybe it still needs to be activated. I had to have a knee replacement so did not use it at all last year.
Hello. Can someone tell me if I spray a mossy area with Moss Max, will it kill existing grass as well? I have an area that is shady and the grass is having to fight the moss to survive. Thanks! Janet
I am starting my organic tomato seeds this week and was wondering if I can/should use some of the liquid fertilizer when starting the seeds, if I can once they start growing while potted, or if I should wait until they are put outdoors and planted? Thanks.
I have 2 endless summer hydrangeas and one forever and ever blue hydrangea. I am in southeastern Michigan and we have had brutal winters for the last 2 seasons. Needless to say the hydrangeas died back to the ground. When and what do you recommend using so that I get blooms. The one is in a Western exposure but gets late sun after 3pm and it flowers the most but most of the blooms are at the bottom of the bush. Any thoughts on that? The forever and ever only has one bloom this year and…Continue
I've been receiving SnG's catalogs for a couple of years. Decided this year I will buy as I need to fertilize desperately now. Are the mixes an all-purpose--meaning they are good for fruits, veggies & flowers?
What has been your success using S N G in 95 degrees plus weather?
