It's a clematis, probably the same one that I have (Jackmanii). I live in Jersey and never been to the botanical gardens; would love to go someday!

You should do some container gardening, or household plants! Sadly indoor flowers never do too well for me; the only things surviving in my house are a bamboo and spider plant. So I probably couldn't offer too many tips there... You could try…

It's a shame you can't travel too often, but when you do, I definitely want to see some pictures!! I love to live vicariously through others online (LOL) and it would be an awesome way to see tons of different types of flowers and plants.
