"We have an ant prblem every spring. Not fire ants just small house ants. If Exxant isn't for you then try a product called Terro. Got it at Home Depo. It cost about 3.00 for one small bottle. Just put small dabs of it on small pieces of paper…"

"I also had this problem. If you are using a yellow colored tank sprayer like I am, then you can't see the color change. If the color really hasn't changed then add a pinch of baking soda and wait a few minutes. You will notice a difference."

I checked a couple of internet sites, and it appears you should start them indoors in early spring, and transplant outside after the weather gets warm.
