uGood morning John. To begin, I just have to comment on that gorgeous ocean picture. Looks like the rocks are just floating on the water.

I, too, am looking forward to gardening again after what seemed like an extremely long winter. Although the weather is more springlike, we're not out of the woods yet. We've had frost for the past three nights so I'm holding off on planting. I do quite a bit of container gardening because it's easier than lifting bulbs each fall. My dahlias, however, are planted in the ground and I take them up each year. I love dahlias, the bigger the better, and my Zanobia dahlia photo was the contest winner. It's posted on the site under the finalists. It's the one with the raindrops on it.

Although it's just a tad to early to plant, I'm keeping busy preparing the beds so I don't have to do it all at once. Each day I make a little more progress and am looking forward to the day I can put my plants in the ground. Have a wonderful day and best wishes to you and yours.

Hi John. Congratulations on your cover photo on the newest SnG catalog. I was the January winner and am in awe of all of the photos on the catalog covers as well as the photos that are posted on this site. Now that the weather is beginning to improve in the northeast, I'm looking forward to gardening once again. Happy gardening. Have a flowerishis summer.
Best wishes,
\Joan

I just joined the blog and think it will be fun....happy gardening to you and your wife. If we don't start getting some sunshine here I'm afraid mine won't do any good. I live south of St. Louis and we have had so much rain here and temps have been cool.. Let the sun shine please.

Regards,
Carol
