Wow, what a huge plant. It is beautiful. Are those seed pods I see? Sure would like to try to grow it in Ohio. Can you start it from seed or is it plant you have to buy?

Try planting "basil" w/your tomatoes. It works great, they (the hornworms) don't like the smell. Also, you can use the basil in your tomato recipes.

I purchased it online and did not know what to expect. I use spray and grow and tea from my compost maker. This thing has gone nuts and I don't know if it will make it during the winter. I guess I will wrap the trunk with cloth and hope for the best. It is really easy to grow, just keep it damp. I beleive it came from up your way. Have a nice week, It time to build my lilly bed. kenneth
