what a beautiful plant to win.
I would be afraid that I would kill it, not so worried with the cheaper day lilies.
you just might win the Cover Contest again this year with this flower.

This is not a lily, but it is a daylily. It was hybridized by Tim Bell of Georgia. Tim came up to Long Island to speak to our club in April 2009, and brought some daylilies to auction. This is one of the plants that I won in the auction. As you might imagine, it is quite expensive. I do have some seedlings from it that I hope to see bloom next year.
