Making a Splash Iris (2010)

I planted this German (Bearded) Iris about two years ago, and even though the plant itself came back, it would never produce flowers; only leaves.

Spring 2010 finally saw lovely Iris flowers! And a lot of them! This variety (which I searched for online and is called "Making a Splash") is in the flower-border along the house (side of the front porch) with Aquilegia Black Barlow - the deep purples together make a striking showcase!!
