My Spray-N-Grow Garden

I'm looking for a plant to grow indoors, but could use some help in picking something out.

I'd like to for it to grow no more than 4 feet tall and hopefully live a long time.
I would prefer something that isn't super high maintenance (as I may forget to water at times).
And would need something that if my cat ate a leaf they would be ok.

Any ideas?

As to the cat eating your plants. Why don't you plant some grass seeds in a pot for your cat. I have grown rye grass seeds in a pot for "salad-needing" cats and this has worked beautifully. The cats picked the grass over the plants, every time!

corn plants, you know those large tree/plants that are in every office, very easy to take care of.

Hi Ryan
A Palm plant would be nice. I read some where it cleans the air. Also money plant in bedroom to clean
Air.
Oh and a mother-in-law tongue will clean air.

Ryan, As far as I know, the spider plant is the absolute best at cleaning the air.

You didn't mention your light situation, but I have a Mother-in-Law's Tongue (Or Snake plant) in my basement room where it gets very little light, & it's doing really well. Otherwise, one of the easiest (IMO) plants to grow in low or medium light is the Golden Pathos. I'm not sure about the kitty situation though. I used to have a plant eater, & he didn't seem bothered by it, though it is a member of the Philodendron family I think. The cat grass is a good idea. Good luck!

Spider Plants are wonderful, but they are notorious cat magnet. They just can't seem to resist those hanging "Spider babies". I guess they think they're toys.

Have you tried to grow Cat Mint, I had mine in a big pot out front
but neighbors cat discovered it.
I would find the poor plant flat where the cat laid in it.
My cat loves to eat the plant then its funny to watch her.
My cat mint is in the house but just for the winter.
