Unless you have a reason not to (you know of some chemical in the water at unusually high concentration), tap water is fine and easy!.

Permalink Reply by Rashea Healey on April 2, 2012 at 3:45pm I wondered why I was not seeing the color change. I am using tap water and I just took its Ph....8.2...very alkaline. Do you think this is why there's no color change?
