My Spray-N-Grow Garden

SNG Killing my plants - what do I do?

I just started using SNG.  I was SO excited to receive my product and mixed the CocoWet, SNG and Bill's Fertilizer EXACTLY according to instructions in a sprayer that I ordered from SNG and meticulously cleaned before using.

Within 3 days, my 3 year old Jasmine plants were dead and all of my geraniums had crunchy yellow and brown leaves.  I was able to save them, but they now look like seedlings, instead of the robust plants they once were.

I contacted SNG about this, and they suggested I use the SNG ONLY without the CocoWet or fertilizer.  I did, and now have the same issue with my geraniums, hostas, new jasmine plants, sweet potato vines and coleus.  All have yellowing, crunchy leaves.

I REALLY wanted this product to work.  Have any of you had this problem?  Any suggestions?  I am really disappointed and did not want to go back to Miracle Gro.

Thanks!

I know you are very upset that your plants are dying or looking unhealthily at best. Spray-N-Grow is completely nontoxic and simply cannot harm plants. It has been tested at universities and at private labs at concentrate and dilution and has been proved to be nonphytotoxic, which means it cannot burn or cause plants to wilt or turn brown. We need to look at everything these plants have been exposed to and see what could be affecting them. There are so many things that plants encounter including diseases, chemicals from the nursery, too much or not enough water, Malathion from the mosquito truck, neighbors spraying, residue in sprayers and others. We really want to help you solve your gardening problem. Please call me (Natalie) at 1-800-323-2363. I am a Muskopf family member and want to personally help you.
I used SnG on my Cactus and Desert Cactus and yes they lost every leaf but they lived.
But I did the same as you, I mixed the coco wet and Fertilizer with the SnG.
I think it was the Fertilizer that did it.
Well my Cactus ( 4 ) plants did not make it.
I think I have pictures of them before I sprayed them on this site.
Oh , my Desert Cactus are doing better,
One has a bunch of new shiny leaves and the other one has tiny new leaves.
I got my perfect blend kit a few weeks ago and everything is good. No issues at all, even with a novice user like myself. ;=)

The closest thing to a cactus I've sprayed it on is an Aloe plant and it is still doing fine. :-P I also add the CocoWet and Bill's Perfect Fertilizer.

What you describe is something I see when I spray grasses with Round-up weed killer and I'm almost certain there are other chemicals out there that will do something similar. Something else is causing the dying back issue, I don't think it is the SNG. The issue could be anything in/or above the soil and not because you just started using SNG.

Just as Natalie says, I think there may be any number of reasons for the dieback.
I used the same SnG on many other plants they did fine, growing like weeds :)
I mean the exact same, mixed some waited like I was suppose and went spray crazy.
Sprayed everything I had, Lillies , Kiwi plants, peach vines, tomatoes, and blueberry plants
plus the cactus.
The cactus were the only ones that didnt do so well.

Had the cactus in the same soil some pots since last summer, so that didnt change
only difference was the SnG.
.
But let me say , I love Spray and Grow and will continue to buy it and continue to tell whoever will listen that
SnG is the best I ever used.
