We are organic gardeners and I just wanted to share a tip with you. I have had some black fungus attack my shrubs around the pool area, powdery leaf mold on my Zenia's, and some sort of destructive leech looking caterpillar that lays little black eggs on my Shrimp plant as well as my young Wilow tree and some small white mite looking pest. I mixed up a squirt of dish soap and water with 1/2 teaspoon of Coco Wet in my pump up sprayer and sprayed down all of these plants. It did the trick, didn't harm my plants or my pets. Someone told me you can do the same with cheyenne pepper for ants. Adding the Coco Wet is my own school of thinking, it makes since to use it in this way.
Good job! Thanks for sharing. The Coco Wet makes perfect sense since it makes water wetter and really coats the critters. The Neem Oil is also very good for these problems and is organic. Remember when using Coco Wet 1/2 teaspoon per gallon water is sufficient.
Hey thanks Bill. I wouldn't mind trying that Neem Oil. If I can't control with the method I have been using, then I will try it. I'm gonna need that wetter pretty soon, looks like the 100's are on their way.
