HUMMING BIRD MOTH
This Moth was flying around our Lily plant last night.
I will try to get more pictures tonight, sure he will be there again.
he wasnt even scared of us, kept flying from one lily to another then around us
then back to the flowers again.
We actually thought it was a humming bird, until I took a picture and looked
at the picture.
This was after 12 am when he was out there.
His wings are brownish and his body is white with Yellow stripes.
No its not a bubble bee :)
Looked like he even had the long beak like a humming bird

Ok , now I know what he really is.
Hes a Five Spotted Hawk Moth.
Don.t know why they don't why they aren't in the same family as the Humming bird Moth.
But they do hover and eat like a Humming bird , they dont have a beak but neither
does the Humming bird moth.
