My Spray-N-Grow Garden

This is just a little green fly that runs with fits and starts over a leaf.  I'd like to know if anyone can tell me if this fly is a major pest or not and how to control it.  At the moment, I can't see any damage.  I've seen them on squash and grapevines.

Looks like a Longlegged Fly (Dolichopodidae) sound smart don't I!

If that's what it is, it's a beneficial insect. It eats bad bugs. Keep a watch for damage, but from your picture it looks like a good guy.
Thanks Bill. I'll leave them alone then. Can always use more beneficial ones in the garden. :)
