Getting rid of dandelions

Would anyone know if I should use Burnout or Nature's avenger to get rid of the dandelions (and roots)? I weeded a few days ago for 4 1/2 hours and my hands were aching. I wish I could use a toxic killer, but I can't bring myself to do it after reading what that can do to the environment.
