Are there any organic solutions for cabbage insect control?

I know sevin dust works well, but I want to stay organic

Thank You

Our Pyrethrin product is labeled for cabbage loopers and cabbage worms,  It is a botanical insecticide but is not OMRI listed.  The only other ideas I have are to use 70% Neem Oil or find some bt.  Of course, several sites I visited suggest hand picking the worms and destroying them--Yuk!  Good luck.

Thanks for the reply

I call a local nuresie and discuss the problem because I was going to go with neem oil, but he said neem oil will leave a oily coating on the cabbage. So therefore I am going to go with Safer insect control.

About 3 years ago I believe I went with JERRY BAKER'S BUG B GONE Tonic it was good.

but this time I want to go all organic.

So far I planted 12 heads and nine are looking good all of my bush collards are doing great.

Thanks once again

Bill

Please let all of us know how this works for you.  I have a really hard time growing cabbage for the same reason and the fact that my soil is clay.  Thanks.

I find that the safer insect control applied every two weeks works great.
